Requirements / Instructions

Application Requirements

1. Must be a high school senior enrolled in an accredited 4 year University
   or Graduate School.
2. Must be of Greek descent.
3. Exhibit high academic standards and leadership qualities.
4. Submit a copy of your current resume.
5. Submit a copy of your High School or College/University academic transcript.
6. Submit 2 letters of recommendation from individuals other than
   family members.
7. Submit a brief (no more than 1 typewritten page) essay addressing the following:

   • Sustainability and community are important citizenship values.
     How does your family and cultural heritage contribute to these values
     today?

8. Submit any additional information about yourself that you wish to
   share.
9. Applicant's parent(s) must be in good standing with their society or
   association for at least one year prior to the application date and
   must be a member in good standing with the Federation of Hellenic
   American Societies of New England.

A group of professors review the applications. Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 10, 2026 to receive their scholarships during the Dinner Gala of the Federation on April 18, 2026 at Venezia Boston, 20 Ericsson St. Boston, MA 02122.

Recipient must be present to receive scholarship award.
