APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Enrollment Status: Applicants must be currently enrolled as a first-year (freshman) student at an accredited college or university.
2. Heritage: Applicants must be of Greek descent.
3. Merit: Applicants must demonstrate strong academic achievement and leadership qualities.
4. Official Transcript: Applicants must submit an official academic transcript issued by the college or university Registrar’s Office.
5. Letters of Recommendation: Applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation from individuals who are not family members.
6. Essay Requirement: Applicants must submit a brief essay responding to the following prompt:
“Sustainability and community are important citizenship values. How does your family and cultural heritage contribute to these values today?”
* Maximum length: three (3) typed pages
* Language: English
7. Society/Association Membership: The applicant’s parent(s) must be members in good standing of their Society or Association for at least one (1) year prior to the application date, and the Society or Association must be an active member in good standing.

A group of professors review the applications. Scholarship recipients will be notified by
April 10, 2026
to receive their scholarships during the Dinner Gala of the Federation on
April 18, 2026 at Venezia Boston, 20 Ericsson St. Boston, MA 02122.
Recipient must be present to receive scholarship award.
